Danny K is a fashion retailer in Los Angeles specializing in handmade purses and handbags.
The Challenge:
Danny K’s main business model was attending live arts and craft shows around the country. However, in early 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic hit and Danny K was forced to quickly adapt their business model. They realized the potential of the web to reach a wider audience. But their website was old, outdated, and not mobile-friendly. Danny K approached the team at Devi Studios with the challenge of redesigning their website to be modern and user friendly, and to help increase their online sales.
The Solution:
To begin, we completely redesigned Danny K’s website and gave it a modern look and feel that reflects Danny K’s unique style and commitment to quality. We also created several custom web apps to help them manage their inventory and online store. One of the favorite apps we created was the “Product Designer”. This app allows the Danny K staff to create images of their products with different fabric options, which are then published on the website. The app allows the Danny K staff to generate hundreds of realistic photos of their products without having to pick up a camera.
